Hey everybody!
Today's outfit is inspired by elephants! I recently acquired a top with an amazing elephant design on it. Coincidentally, I also have elephant themed jewelry which I threw on. The shirt itself is rather baggy, so I tied it in a knot to cinch in the waist. For the bottom half of the outfit, I have on a "faux skirt." By adding the shirt on top of a navy dress, it gives the illusion that I have on a swishy, A-line skirt instead.
I hope you enjoyed!

Neon Daffodils
Hey everybody!
I have fully embraced springtime and all of the beautiful colors that come along with it! I hit up the mall and picked out some bright pieces. My favorite is the swishy, pleated daffodil colored skirt. It's really flattering worn high waisted, and I added a tied chambray shirt to highlight that feature. I added some fun silver accessories, like cool jingly bangles. To finish off the look, I added my polka dot oxfords.
I hope you enjoyed!

When Life Gives You Lemons
Hey everybody!
I'm so excited for spring, even though Dubai doesn't experience "spring time" weather. We stay pretty warm here year round. In honor of the vernal equinox, I put together a citrus themed outfit. I've been itching to wear my cute lemon jeans for months! I added on coral or tangerine accessories, down to the lip gloss! This outfit is very comfortable but still looks put together!
I hope you enjoyed!

Afternoon in Miracle Gardens
Hi everybody!
This Sunday my family and I enjoyed a day out at Dubai Miracle Gardens. It's a beautiful little garden with flowers of all colors and varieties. It's open seasonally, so we jumped at the opportunity to spend one of our last cool weekends in Dubai outside.
First, we stopped at a cute little cafe called Shakespeare and Co. It's decorated in a beautifully whimsical manner - think Victorian Era meets Alice in Wonderland. We ordered pastries and drank iced caramel macchiatos. They also offered macarons, one of my biggest obsessions! I'm definitely returning soon.
Our actual destination for the day was Dubai Miracle Gardens. The weather was nice, and the sky was reliably cloud-free. I adore flowers, and was in flower heaven here! I really was in awe of the structures they managed to construe out of flowers. How in the world do you turn daffodils into dragons?! Also, the flower colors went nicely with my outfit, and they photographed well.
I hope you all enjoyed!

Ivory Skulls & Olive Paisley
Hey everybody!
Today's outfit is a great transition outfit for me as Dubai charges full-on into the heat of spring and summer. I think it would be great for a concert or all day event, because the pieces are breathable, and also have a cool vintage factor. The jeans are my favorite part, because the olive green pattern paisley print is a bit reminiscent of 70s patterns. I also adore the skull tank top, because it makes me feel ten times edgier than I am! To roll with the edgy vibe, I also mixed metals in my jewelry.
I hope you enjoyed!

Pale Pink Pearls
Hi everybody!
Today's outfit is casual with a hint of professionalism. I kept the main pieces very basic, with black flats and skinny jeans, and a white tank top. The long cardigan is actually a button-up dress that I kept open. I used the belt it came with to cinch in the waist. I then threw on a string of pale pink pearls, the focal point of the outfit. They add a touch of classiness and sophistication to an otherwise comfy outfit.
I hope you enjoyed!

Blushing Chiffon Dress
Hello everybody!
This is what I wore this Valentine's day. I'm in love with the dress! It's a lovely dusty rose color, and fits me very well. Normally, I'm reluctant to shop online, but I couldn't pass this dress up. I'm even considering more in different colors! The great thing about a nice dress is that other accessories aren't needed. I kept mine to a minimum, with earthy tones to complement the warm salmon color.
I'm not only in love with the dress, but also with my backdrop! These fountains are in my neighborhood. I noticed while on a run the other day that the shrubs had been trimmed, bright flowers replanted, and I knew I had to take pictures out here! The weather has also been very nice, and I now look forward to my runs around the scenic community. I also want to stop by here to read. I just finished The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, which I highly recommend! It's an amazing read, and I look forward to reading other books by this author.
I hope you enjoyed!
